County Seat

1973–1999

Wall-to-wall jeans.

Mall Fashion

The mall denim store built around a wall of jeans in every wash, cut, and brand — Levi's stacked to the ceiling, a fitting room with a Saturday line, and clerks who'd actually help you find your size. For a lot of Gen-X teens it was the back-to-school stop. It closed out at the end of the '90s.
