Story angles
Writing about nostalgia, music discovery, Gen X, or the indie web? Pick a thread. We're glad to do interviews, podcasts, or supply data on request.
The memory is the product, not the music
G33Z3R Radio streams nothing. Every play button is a deep link into whatever app you already pay for. What it keeps instead is the thing streaming services threw away: what the song reminded you of, written by the people who lived it.
A modern site with zero trackers
No cookie banner, no ad pixels, no login wall, no third-party analytics — a deliberate bet that a nostalgia site for people who remember the pre-surveillance web shouldn't run on surveillance.
Credit where it's due
Dedicated pages for the songwriters and producers behind the hits — the people whose names never made the poster. Search "songs written by" almost anyone and the credit trail is a mess; we mapped it.
What was #1 the week you were born
A free, ad-free lookup against the weekly Billboard Hot 100 — and an embeddable version any site can host (see below).
A graveyard for the places that closed
Memorial pages for the venues, record stores, and studios that shaped a local scene and then quietly disappeared — the kind of history no chain outlet bothered to write down.

Boilerplate (~50 words)
G33Z3R Radio is a digital time capsule of the music, memories, and culture that raised Gen X across the '60s, '70s, '80s, and '90s. It isn't a streaming service — it's the place that owns the memory attached to the song: pick a vibe, travel to a year, build a mixtape, settle a Versus, play the arcade, and launch any track into the app you already use.

G33Z3R RadioOne thing we can't hand out: album cover art. Those images belong to their labels — we display them on-site alongside a link to the release, but they aren't ours to license, so please don't pull them from our pages for your own artwork. Our logos, screenshots, card art, and written copy are fair game.
