The teen-and-twenties mall staple where a generation of girls found their homecoming dress, their first "grown-up" outfit, and whatever trend was cresting that year. Racks of bodycon and party pieces, loud music, and a fitting-room line on Saturdays. It was absorbed into the Wet Seal chain and phased the Contempo name out by the mid-'90s.
