Alan Thicke sang this one himself, over Arnold and Willis riding a taxi to Park Avenue. The theme is a little philosophy lesson about difference, sung by a game-show host who would become America's TV dad.
Whatchu talkin' 'bout was the catchphrase; the theme was the part you hummed. It shared writers with The Facts of Life, its spin-off.
