The only theme here that was already a classic: Joe Cocker's raw 1968 cover of the Beatles, over home-movie footage of the Arnolds. A show about the late '60s scored by the late '60s, watched by kids in the late '80s.
Kevin, Winnie, Paul and a narrator who was you, later. The theme's Cocker howl is the sound of a grown man remembering being twelve.
