The Story
Boy Meets Girl is a pop music duo from the United States, featuring keyboardist and vocalist George Merrill. This pair is best known for their catchy hit "Waiting for a Star to Fall," which perfectly encapsulates the upbeat sound of the late '80s. Merrill and his partner Shannon Rubicam also made waves in the music world by crafting two of Whitney Houston’s massive hits, "How Will I Know" and "I Wanna Dance with Somebody." Their knack for blending infectious melodies with relatable lyrics has left a lasting impression on listeners who still find themselves humming along to their tunes, proving that the magic of pop music can endure well beyond its initial release.
