The Story
Helloween is a German power metal band active since 1984, known for their energetic sound and elaborate compositions. Originating in Hamburg, they initially featured Kai Hansen on guitar and vocals, Michael Weikath on guitar, Markus Grosskopf on bass, and Ingo Schwichtenberg on drums. Over the years, they expanded to a five-member lineup with the addition of vocalist Michael Kiske. Their music, embodied in tracks like "I Want Out," blends speedy riffs with dramatic melodies, establishing them as a key player in the European metal scene. Despite numerous lineup changes, including the departure of influential members, Grosskopf and Weikath remain at the helm, keeping the spirit of Helloween alive.
