The Story
Musical Youth is a reggae band from the United Kingdom that began making music in 1979. Known primarily for their catchy hit "Pass the Dutchie," they brought a youthful energy to the genre with their distinct sound. The band features Dennis Seaton as one of its core members. In addition to "Pass the Dutchie," they released other notable tracks like "Youth of Today" and collaborated with Donna Summer on "Unconditional Love." After two albums, Musical Youth faced personal challenges that led to their disbandment in 1985, but they made a comeback in 2001 as a duo, reminding us all of their infectious grooves and spirited melodies.
