Negative Approach is a hardcore punk band from the United States, active since 1981. Emerging from Detroit, they quickly became known for their raw energy and aggressive sound, cementing their place in the Midwest punk scene. With John Brannon at the helm, their music embodies the fierce spirit of early hardcore, characterized by short, punchy tracks like "Can't Tell No One." Though they disbanded in 1984, Brannon went on to play in other projects, while Negative Approach reunited in 2006, reminding audiences of their uncompromising style.
