The Story
Tierra is an American Latin R&B band from Los Angeles, known for their smooth blend of soulful harmonies and rhythmic grooves. The group was formed by former members of El Chicano, including Rudy Salas on guitar and his brother Steve Salas on vocals, alongside a talented lineup featuring Bobby Loya, Bobby Navarrete on reeds, and more. Their standout track “Together,” a reimagining of The Intruders' classic, showcases their ability to infuse classic soul with a Latin twist. With its catchy melody and heartfelt lyrics, the song became a favorite on local radio, making Tierra a notable name in the R&B landscape of their time.
