Y&T is an American hard rock and heavy metal band from Oakland, California, active since 1972. Originally known as Yesterday & Today, they released two albums on London Records before shortening their name. With Dave Meniketti at the helm, Y&T went on to release a string of albums through A&M Records, showcasing their robust sound and catchy hooks. Their catalog includes the fan-favorite “Summertime Girls,” a quintessential anthem of summer days.
