The first great McDonald's song, and the one Advertising Age later named the top jingle of the century. Crews in paper hats danced through a spotless restaurant and told America it had earned a rest.

The campaign came and went through the '70s and '80s in different arrangements, and the melody is still the one older Gen X hums when they see the arches.
