A doll for boys, which was a hard sell in 1985, so Hasbro gave it a song about friendship and ran it constantly. Kid Sister got the same tune with the pronouns changed.

The jingle is the reason the doll is remembered at all, and the reason Chucky, in the 1988 movie, is a boy's doll with a friendly name. That's not a coincidence; the film was a parody.
