Gary Lewis & The Playboys
rock music · 1965–1968

Gary Lewis & The Playboys are an American rock music group known for their catchy tunes and boy-next-door charm. Fronted by Gary Lewis, the son of comedian Jerry Lewis, the band made waves in the 1960s with hits like "This Diamond Ring," "Count Me In," and "She's Just My Style." Their sound, reminiscent of the British Invasion groups, featured jangly guitars and heartfelt lyrics that appealed to a wide audience. Although they disbanded in 1970, a version of the band still tours today, often playing for Veterans' Administration benefits, keeping the spirit of their harmonies alive for fans both old and new.
