Blue Swede was a Swedish pop rock band known for their spirited take on classic songs, active from 1973 until 1979. Led by Björn Skifs, the group crafted a memorable rendition of "Hooked On a Feeling," which showcased their knack for catchy melodies and infectious energy. Their lineup included Anders Berglund on piano, Bosse Liljedahl on bass, Hinke Ekestubbe on saxophone, Jan Guldbäck on drums, Michael Areklew on guitar, and Tommy Berglund on trumpet. Despite releasing two albums filled with covers, the band eventually parted ways as Skifs pursued a solo career. Blue Swede's vibrant sound continues to echo in the hearts of fans who remember the joy in their music.
