The Story
Lonestar is a country music band from the United States that has been active since 1992. Originally formed by Drew Womack, Michael Britt, Dean Sams, and Keech Rainwater, the group has seen its share of lineup changes, including the departure of lead vocalist Richie McDonald and bass guitarist John Rich, the latter of whom joined Big & Rich. Their catalog features the standout track “Amazed,” which showcases their signature blend of heartfelt lyrics and melodic hooks. With Womack stepping in as lead singer after McDonald’s second exit in 2021, Lonestar continues to evolve while delivering the kind of storytelling that resonates with country fans.
