The American Breed is a garage rock band from the United States, known for their catchy melodies and tight harmonies. Originally called Gary & The Knight Lites, they switched their name in 1967 and quickly made a name for themselves with their hit "Bend Me, Shape Me." Featuring members Gary Loizzo, Al Ciner, Kevin Murphy, Charles Colbert, and Lee Graziano, their sound is characterized by jangly guitars and infectious hooks that encapsulate the spirit of the 1960s rock scene.
