The Hillside Singers was an American folk pop group best known for their rendition of "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing (In Perfect Harmony)." Brought together by advertising agency McCann Erickson, this ensemble was originally formed to perform a catchy jingle for Coca-Cola after the New Seekers couldn’t participate. The song, with its uplifting melody and harmonious vocals, quickly gained traction, leading to a full album and even a Christmas record. Their version of the jingle became a commercial sensation, and the group’s appeal lay in their simple, warm harmonies that captured the spirit of the early '70s.
