The Story
The Rolling Stones are a British rock band known for their blend of rock music, blues rock, and rhythm and blues, active since 1962. With members like Mick Jagger and Keith Richards leading the charge, they developed a sound marked by gritty energy and infectious rhythms. Early on, Brian Jones played a crucial role in shaping their musical direction, while the songwriting partnership of Jagger and Richards became central to the band’s identity. Hits like “(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction,” “Gimme Shelter,” and “Paint It Black” showcase their knack for catchy hooks and darker themes, making them a cornerstone of rock and roll that still reverberates today.
