The Story
The Saints are an Australian punk rock band that began their journey in Brisbane in 1974. Led by the distinctive voice of Chris Bailey, they are recognized for their high-energy sound characterized by fast tempos and aggressive guitar riffs, often described as a "buzzsaw" style. With tracks like “I’m Stranded” and “Know Your Product,” they played a crucial role in shaping the punk scene in Australia and aligned themselves with the international movement of the genre. Their raw, unfiltered approach to music captured the spirit of the times, leaving an undeniable impact on fans and future musicians alike. The Saints’ music is a must-listen for anyone wanting to trace the roots of punk down under.
