Weather Report was a groundbreaking American band active since 1970, blending jazz, jazz fusion, rock, free jazz, and jazz-funk. Led by the innovative keyboardist Joe Zawinul and the masterful saxophonist Wayne Shorter, they pushed the boundaries of music with a rotating lineup that included notable talents like bassist Jaco Pastorius and percussionists Airto Moreira and Alex Acuña.
