The blue can with the peelable lid, the fingertips stained orange, the Mr. Peanut who for some reason was selling cheese. Cheez Balls were the snack of every sleepover and the reason the couch cushions had a color.
Planters dropped them in 2006 and a decade of pleading followed. The 2018 revival was announced as limited and then simply stayed, one of the few discontinued snacks that came back for good.
Back on shelves. The can is still blue.
