Yes. Before he was Barry Manilow, he was one of the best jingle writers in New York, and the bandage song is his most-sung work, ahead of most of his hits. He performed it in concert as part of a medley for decades.

The spot with the kids on the playground ran through the '80s, and the tune got Bruce Willis and, later, various athletes. It's a two-line song, and everybody knows both.
