The Story
311 is an American alternative rock and funk rock band with roots in Omaha, Nebraska, active since 1988. The lineup features vocalist and guitarist Nick Hexum, bassist Aaron "P-Nut" Wills, drummer Chad Sexton, and lead guitarist Tim Mahoney, who joined in 1990 after Jim Watson's departure. Doug "SA" Martinez rounds out the group as a second vocalist and turntablist. Known for their infectious blend of genres, they captured attention with tracks like "Down," showcasing a unique sound that merges rock, reggae, and hip-hop influences.
