In 1995, “Gangsta's Paradise (feat. L.V.)” by Coolio topped the Billboard year-end Hot 100 and Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette and (What's the Story) Morning Glory? by Oasis were on every turntable. Toy Story, Se7en and Clueless were in theaters, and JAG, Pinky and the Brain and Xena: Warrior Princess were on TV.
The headlines: Oklahoma City bombing. New that year: Windows 95 launches. Fads of the year: Pogs peak and Beanie Babies frenzy.
