The Story
Propagandhi is a Canadian punk rock and melodic hardcore band that emerged from Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, in 1986. With a sound that combines fierce energy and sharp political commentary, they’ve carved a distinctive path in the punk scene. The current lineup features guitarist Chris Hannah, drummer Jord Samolesky, bassist Todd Kowalski, and guitarist Sulynn Hago, all now based in Winnipeg. Their songs, such as "Hate, Myth, Muscle, Etc." and "Anti-Manifesto," challenge social norms and provoke thought while delivering relentless riffs and rhythms. With a discography released on labels like G7 Welcoming Committee Records and Fat Wreck Chords, Propagandhi continues to push boundaries and inspire listeners through their unapologetic approach to punk.
