The Story
SWV is an American R&B trio from the United States, known for their smooth harmonies and catchy melodies. With Coko leading the charge, they made a significant impact in the '90s with hits like "Weak," "I'm So Into You," and "You're the One." Their sound blends rich vocal textures with relatable lyrics, tapping into themes of love and longing. They first gained attention with "Right Here," which cleverly samples Michael Jackson's "Human Nature." After a hiatus in the late '90s to explore solo projects, SWV reunited and has continued to charm fans, reminding us why their music still hits home. Their catalog is a nostalgic tapestry of romance and heartache, still spinning on our playlists.
