A song that was just a list of kids, fat kids and skinny kids and kids who climb on rocks, all of whom, it turned out, ate the same hot dog. It's the earliest jingle a lot of older Gen X can sing all the way through.
The spots were shot like a summer picnic and rerun for two decades. It's been covered, sampled and parodied, and the melody shows up in Simpsons episodes and in every backyard.
