“The underground alt-dance club spinning Nine Inch Nails.”
Dance Clubs · South Campus · OSU
The progressive-music dance club that opened around late 1989 in the same subterranean South Campus room that had been Mother Fletcher's — run under the umbrella of notorious campus bar mogul Al DeSantis. It was the alternative scene's home floor: DJs spinning heavy doses of Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, Ministry and The Cure — progressive house, new wave, industrial and gothic rock. In 1992 the space changed hands again and became The Pit.
