The Story
All Saints is a UK pop music group that emerged in 1993, originally known as All Saints 1.9.7.5. Initially comprised of Melanie Blatt, Shaznay Lewis, and Simone Rainford, they faced challenges with their early label, ZTT Records, and underwent lineup changes. After Rainford's departure due to internal tensions, the group welcomed sisters Nicole and Natalie Appleton, who helped stabilize the lineup. They later signed with London Records, dropping their numerical moniker. With their smooth harmonies and catchy hooks, they delivered hits like "Never Ever," showcasing their knack for blending pop sensibilities with a hint of R&B. Their sound and style encapsulate a distinctive moment in '90s music culture.
