The Story
Toadies is an alternative rock band from the United States, active since 1989 and best known for their haunting track "Possum Kingdom." With a core lineup featuring Vaden Todd Lewis and Michael Jerome, they initially crafted a sound that mixed gritty guitar riffs with introspective lyrics. After releasing two albums, they disbanded in the early 2000s, only to regroup years later and put out their third album, "No Deliverance." Their 2010 re-release of "Feeler" through Kirtland Records marked a return to form, and they continued to evolve musically, culminating in their latest offering, "The Charmer." Toadies remain a distinctive voice in the alternative rock landscape, echoing the spirit of their Texan roots.
