The '90s were the golden age of turning a candy bar into a pile of small round things you could eat by the handful. Butterfinger BB's were the best of them: the flaky peanut-butter center in a marble, sold in a bag with Bart Simpson on it.
They melted in your hand, which is the reason most often given for pulling them in 2006. The Bites that followed fix the melting and lose the shape, and everyone who had the originals will tell you the shape was the point.
