Yes, it's gone, and recently. Fruit Stripe was the gum whose flavor lasted about as long as it took to read the tattoo on the wrapper, and that was somehow the charm. The zebra, the stripes, the five flavors, the tattoos: pure pack-of-gum theater.
Ferrara ended production in January 2024 after 55 years. The internet's reaction was a wave of people admitting they hadn't bought a pack in thirty years, which is roughly what the sales numbers said too.
This one is fresh. If you have an unopened pack, it is now a museum piece.
