A perfect joke of a product: the missing centers of Life Savers, sold in a plastic tube you could pour into your mouth. Kids loved the tube as much as the candy.
The tube was the problem. The flip-top cap could come off and be swallowed, the product was recalled, and Nabisco never brought it back. It lived for about a year and is remembered by nearly everyone who was in grade school then.
