The file
Reggie Jackson once said that if he played in New York they'd name a candy bar after him. They did. The Reggie! bar was handed out free at Yankee Stadium on Opening Day 1978, and when Jackson hit a home run in his first at-bat, the crowd threw them all onto the field.
That's the whole story of the bar, and it's a better story than most candy gets. It was gone within a few years. A reissue appeared around 1993 and another in the 2020s, both short-lived.
